Sir George Martin (January 3, 1926 – March 8, 2016) widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential producers in music history. Often referred to as "the fifth Beatle," he was crucial in shaping the sound of The Beatles, producing almost their entire catalog and bringing classical expertise to their rock and roll foundation.
